PURPOSE:To improve the defect detecting ability by rotating a plurality of magnets having the same shape, size, and magnetic characteristics inside a stator winding to be inspected so that an induced voltage can be generated across defective winding only. CONSTITUTION:A pseudo rotor which is made of a nonmagnetic material, etc., and in the surface of which two magnets 1 and 2 having the same magnetic characteristics are buried in such a state that they are counterposed to each other at 180 deg. is rotated inside a stator winding 4 to be inspected by means of a driving section 3. When the polarities of the magnet 1 and 2 on the stator surface side are selected so that the voltages respectively induced across the two magnets can offset each other and become 0V as a whole within defectless winding, induced voltages are only generated inside defective winding. Therefore, even such partially detective winding that about its 10 to 30% is defective can be easily detected. |
