PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen occluding device by which, even without increasing the number of cathodes used by hydrogen occluding bodies high in the unit cost, the occluding amount of hydrogen thereto can economically be increased by a simple additional means. SOLUTION: In a hydrogen occluding device in which an anode 3 and a cathode 4 of hydrogen occluding material for occluding are arranged in an electrolytic chamber 1, and hydrogen is occluded into the cathode 4, separately from the anode 3 and cathode 4 for occluding, a non-hydrogen occluding auxiliary anode 5 and an auxiliary cathode 6 for generating the electric field in which the electric lines of force go from the anode to the cathode are provided. |
