SUBSTANCE: non-consumable electrode includes body in the form of hollow rod with openings arranged by two rows along circles restricting planes normal relative to lengthwise axis of electrode body. Number of openings of each row is equal at least to rod quantity. Each rod passes through pair of openings along axis of body in such a way that its portion between openings is arranged outside electrode. Such electrode allows to improve gas shielding and conditions for its cooling and also to enhance efficiency of welding operations. EFFECT: improved design. 1 dwg, 1 tbl
