The gun has its two barrels connected to a one-piece hinge block drilled perpendicular to its edge (5) to receive four side catches (8) and two central striking pins (60) with a short 4 mm stroke in a straight line perpendicular to the block edge and the trigger box. It is opened, closed, cocked and put on safe by a single lock mechanism with four hooks (33), an intermediate rocking stirrup (40) and a lever (50) operated by a key (51) behind the trigger guard.
