PURPOSE: A thin film transistor substrate for a liquid crystal display device and method for manufacturing and repairing the same are provided to reduce the cross-talk in a vertical direction by reducing an electric filed interference of a data line and a pixel electrode. CONSTITUTION: A thin film transistor substrate for a liquid crystal display device comprises an insulating substrate(10). A plurality of first and second gate lines(20,21) are formed on the insulating substrate(10). A plurality of gate connection sections(27) are provided to connect the first and second gate lines(20,21). A plurality of data lines(60) are crossed with the first and second gate lines(20,21) so as to define a pixel area. A plurality of pixel electrodes are formed in the pixel area. The pixel electrodes are overlapped with one of the first and second gate lines(20,21) to form the first maintenance capacitance. A plurality of thin film transistors have a gate electrode(22) connected to one of the first and second gate lines(20,21), a source electrode(61) connected to the data lines(60), and a drain electrode(61,62) connected to the pixel electrode.
