medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying day-long electrocardiographic monitoring. Two succeeding episodes distinguished by ST-segment depression greater than 1 mm and less than 60 min long gap between the episodes are selected for making analysis. Ischemia episodes duration is measured and ST-segment shift integral is calculated. The second episode duration being more than 1 min smaller with respect to the first one, and ST-segment shift integral reduced by more than 20% in the second episode, ischemia prodrome phenomenon is to be diagnosed.
