<p>The invention relates to a cable control device (1) for activating a final control element (2), especially for activating a selector shaft (3) of a motor vehicle gearbox. The parking position (P) of the gearbox can preferably be engaged and disengaged using said device. The device comprises at least one core (4) and a sheath (5) which essentially encases said core (4). A first end (5a) of said sheath (5) is fixed and the sheath (5), especially the second end (5b) of the sheath (5), is mounted in such a way that it is at least partially displaceable by means of a controlling means (7) located in the area of an abutment (6), so that the core (4) and the sheath (5) form a pull-push cable (8). A first end (4a) of the core (4) is effectively connected to the final control element (2), especially the selector shaft (3). The functioning capability of the device is increased by the provision of a manual emergency activating device (9) which is configured in such a way and functionally interacts with the core (4) in such a way that in the event of a functional defect of the controlling means (7), the final control element (2) can be activated through the core (4) using the emergency activating device (9).</p> |
