The power center contains a unit-type thermal power generator with a rotating medium voltage transformer (1) with medium and low voltage windings arranged mutually adjacent in a single housing and stator as generator and motor windings. The pole wheel with a stimulation and damping winding is connected via a switchable coupling (5) to a motor (2) driven by fuel or heat. The completely portable prefabricated power center consists of a medium voltage circuit, meter and transformer, a unit-type thermal power generator, a thermal storage device, low voltage distribution arrangement, hot water storage device, hot water distribution arrangement, cooling system and electrical heat pump.
