PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that a prescribed mark can not be extracted occasionally since the removal of a thin line to a binary image it not sufficient. SOLUTION: In an image recognizing method, by which a prescribed mark is extracted from the binary image by a basic mark extracting part 106 and a specified pattern is extracted and recognized from the plural marks extracted by a basic mark extracting part 107 and a basic mark recognizing part 108, before extracting the mark from the binary image, the unwanted image in the background of the mark is removed from the binary image by thin line removing processing parts 103 and 104 and an isolate point removing processing part 105 while using the masks of plural kinds. |
