PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a geographical information system, in which the adjustment can be easily performed when superimposing and displaying an analog image and a vector map without making a user spend much time or labor for operation. SOLUTION: When aligning the analog image of a display object and the vector map, a first display is performed in the state of aligning the first point of a previously known position on the analog image and the vector map (steps 401-403) and on this display image, the analog image and the vector map are superimposed while using a second point on the analog image and the vector map (steps 404-407).
