PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor which is provided with an image read function and an image forming function in a compound manner and can cope with transfer failures or jam of recording paper takes place inside the device. SOLUTION: A scanner 2 is made to slide in an A direction to perform horizontal movement on two scanner supports 14 provided parallel to each other at both sides of an MFP 50 main body including a printer 1 and a cassette 3. The inner part of the MFP 50, particularly a part corresponding to the carrying path of the recording paper P in the printer 1 and a paper feed mechanism 7 is exposed to the outside due to the horizontal movement of the scanner 2. Light emitted from an emitter 21 is reflected by a reflector 22 provided on the inner wall of the ceiling of the scanner 2 and the mechanism 7 (carrying path) is irradiated with the light.
