PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless phone exchange system where extension communication and external line communication can efficiently and wirelessly be conducted. SOLUTION: A communication environment detector 22 of a wireless communication section 11 of an exchange main unit 2 detects a communication environment of each terminal 1, and a channel assigner circuit 23 assigns a proper channel relating to wireless communication to each terminal 1 depending on the excellence of the communication environment. A data conversion processing section 12 conducts medium conversion, bit rate conversion and protocol conversion depending on a platform of various terminals 1.
