PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable parts to be properly fed, preventing them from being rotated or oscillated when the parts are moved for supply without increasing a tape presser in size, even if a carrier tape is varied in thickness, in a part-feeding method in which the carrier tape which holds a large number of parts arranged at a prescribed pitch is moved intermittently along a part feed guide in a state, in which the carrier tape is pressed on the part feed guide by the tape presser. SOLUTION: A detection roller 26 which is varied in height with the thickness of a carrier tape 1 and the axis support 21 of the upper end of a tape presser 14 in the tape moving direction are made to interlock with each other via a detection lever 27 whose intermediate points is rotatably supported, and the tape presser 14 is displaced in parallel, corresponding to a thickness change in the carrier tape 1, so that the tape presser 14 is kept in a state in which the presser 14 keeps pressing the carrier tape 1 in parallel with it. |
