<p>An interface device in which the system bus is prevented from being occupied and the system is prevented from freezing even when an weight signal outputted from a PC card is kept asserted. When the weight signal outputted from a PC card is asserted, a timer section (201) is started. The timer section (201) asserts a weight mask signal when it detects that the weight signal is kept asserted for a specified time or more. When the weight mask signal is asserted, a mask section (202) masks the weight signal from the PC card to negate the weight signal for a CPU even if the weight signal from the PC card is asserted. When the timer section (201) asserts the weight mask signal, an interrupt control block/card status register (210) asserts an interrupt signal for the CPU.</p> |
