The sealing device for a gap (21) between two components (1, 2) is in the form of a sealing sheet (3) in sealing grooves (11, 12). The sealing grooves are wedge-shaped, with the groove height (h12, h22) decreasing towards the base surface of the groove. The high groove height (h11, h21) at the groove permits great relative movement between the components, while the sealing sheet is kept hard against the base surface by the small groove height in this area.
