<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a characteristic value adjusting device capable of enhancing operability by reducing the complexity of operations for adjusting a plurality of characteristic values. SOLUTION: When a switch 22 is depressed, a mode setting part 24 sets a sound quality adjustment mode and reports it to a parameter selecting part 26. The parameter selecting part 26 then detects an operating position during that operation, based on the outputs of a plurality of touch sensors mounted on the surface of an operation ring 20, and selects either of four adjustment subject parameters at the setting of the sound quality adjustment mode according to the operating position. Either of a right/left balance setting part 32, a front/rear balance setting part 34, a bass setting part 36 and a treble setting part 38, selected according to the selected adjustment subject parameter, sets the amount by which the adjustment subject parameter is adjusted, according to the result of detection by an angle detecting part 28.</p> |
