<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the discharge of toxic substances, such as NOx or dioxins or the like, generated by combustion of a cover material, a polymeric material, when burning up a waste electrical wire together with the cover material, etc., for the purpose of separation of a core wire as in the prior art, and separate the core wire from the cover material in such a manner that a chemical change of the cover material does not occur and the core wire is not damaged so as to reduce wastes and recycle the core wire together with the cover material. SOLUTION: The cover material is heated to be soft, and got with a blade scar. The resulting cover material is cut off and striped off. Thus, the cover material and the core material can be separately collected without causing the cover material to be chemically changed and without damaging the core wire. A multiple core wire is separated into the cover material and the core wire material after its outer cover material is separated to produce a single core wire.</p> |
