The calendar shows a succession of days at a right angle to a succession of weeks or months. The calendar has variable surface components, in which the nature of the relevant events (2-35) is shown in the form of blocks or columns over the duration of the days (T). The surface components may be distributed uniformly or non-uniformly over a time period of the calendar.
