The bunch of flowers (3) is held horizontally in a curved tray (4) with the stalks gripped between two sponge-covered wheels (5) and a base plate (6). As each bunch reaches the wrapping station, tape (11) from a reel (10) is wound around the stalks, while they are held down by the U-shaped clamp (16) on the end of piston of a pneumatic cylinder (18).
