PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ferrite molded object which has sufficient ductility and does not have air gaps between ferrite particles. SOLUTION: In a manufacturing method of the ferrite molded object, mixture of magnetic materials containing iron oxide is preliminarily sintered and smashed. Obtained ferrite powder is granulated and subjected to hydrostatic pressing treatment, and molding and sinterning are performed. In the method, after metal powder is mixed into the granulated ferrite particles, hydrostatic pressing treatment is performed under a super high pressure, and molding and sintering are performed. This molded object has a so-called chilled texture shown by figure 1 wherein air gaps between ferrite particles 1 are filled with metal 2. Since residual pores do not exsist at all, moisture is not absorbed and stable characteristic is exhibited. Since the filling metal 2 is excellent in ductility, the molded object has sufficient ductility. |
