POWER BREAKER AND GENERATING PLANT ELECTRIC CIRCUIT DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a small size of power breaker which is capable of carrying out a passing through and a breaking of a large current of electricity including a direct current component. SOLUTION: This device comprises an arc generation switch 2 for damping a current by inserting an electric resistance into a circuit in breaking of electricity, a vacuum bulb 1 being connected electrically to the arc generation switch 2 in series to break the damped current, and an electricity passing through switch 3 being connected parallel to the circuit of the vacuum bulb 1 and the arc generation switch 2, wherein the electricity passing through switch 3 is closed in passing through of an electricity, and the electricity passing through switch 3 is opened to open the vacuum bulb 1 and the arc generation switch 2 in breaking of an electricity.
