PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system in which position information obtained related with the target of position detection can be utilized for information processing by information processing equipment PS1 being the target of position detection. SOLUTION: This system is provided with information processing equipment PS1 occupying a certain position in a space so that a computer program can be executed, and attribute information offering means A1, A2, A3, and AX positioned far from the information processing equipment PS1 so that attribute information related with the position of the equipment PS1 can be offered to the equipment PS1. The information processing equipment PS1 specifies the computer program to be executed based on the attribute information related with the position of the equipment PS1 offered by or through the attribute information offering means A1, A2, A3, and AX.
