PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concentrated solution for development for a black-and- white pbotosensitive material and its developing solution kit which prevent deposition in the storage of the kit and to provide a processing method for a black-and-white silver halide pbotographic sensitive material free from the delamination of a film and the occurrence of a roller mark and having an improved silver tone. SOLUTION: The developing solution kit for a black-and-white silver halide photographic sensitive material comprises two or more parts including a part containing a mixture of glutaric aldehyde and a sulfite. In this part, the ratio of the total amount of dissociated sulfurous acid ions and added sulfurous acid ions to the total amount of glutaric aldehyde and its sulfurous acid adduct is 1.0-2.4 and the total amount of glutaric aldehyde and its sulfurous acid adduct is 0.8-2.0 mol/l.
