PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reactor water supply system well-controlled water supply flow rate at startup of a reactor power plant, efficiently startup the plant and reduce the aging degradation of flow control valves, even with a smaller or equal amount of material to the conventional reactor water supply device. SOLUTION: In the reactor water supply system 30, provided in the reactor power plant for supplying water of condenser 3, where steam generated in the reactor 1 and having worked in a turbine 2 is condensed, three or more pumps for supplying water to the reactor 1 are provided. One of these pumps is a motor driven pump 9 for startup. To the motor driven pump 9 for startup, a fluid coupling 11 is provided, and a discharge valve 12 is provided to the discharge side of the motor drive pump 9 for startup, and a flow control valve 6 is provided in the constitution of the system in parallel with the discharge valve 12.
