PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a replacement method for an electronic component together with an electronic component mounting substrate, where an electronic component is easily and quickly replaced at repairing an electronic apparatus. SOLUTION: Through-holes 3a and 3b for fitting an LCD 2 and through-holes 4a and 4b for fitting a replacement LCD at a position away from them by a prescribed distance (d) are provided on an electronic component substrate 1, and through-holes of the same pin number are electrically connected with a wiring pattern 6. At replacement, the signal pin of LCD 2 fitted with the through-holes 3a and 3b is cut using a nipper, etc., to dismount the LCD 2, and a replacement LCD is fitted using the through-holes 4a and 4b. Thus, an LCD is easily and quickly replaced.
