PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a message communication system by a digital wireless phone that can suitably transfer a message consisting of character information, image information or voice information of a large capacity. SOLUTION: A mobile communication network is provided with a large capacity data transfer system 30 that conducts transfer processing of a message including a request and acquired contents between a mobile unit 11, a host system to conduct session control for the mobile unit 11 and an information service system 70 that configures part of the host system. The network connects the request to an information service source to conduct protocol conversion for contents acquisition and to conduct protocol conversion for the transmission of the message including the acquired contents to the mobile unit.
