PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which is constituted so that the conduction between a resistance heat generation layer and an electrode member can be surely and stably secured and which is excellent in safety and durability. SOLUTION: In the image forming device provided with a fixing device using a thermal fixing roller driven to be rotated, an electric insulating layer and the resistance heat generation layer are laminated at the circumferential surface of the thermal fixing roller. Then, both end parts of the thermal fixing roller are provided with the electrode member conducted to the resistance heat generation layer. The abutting part of the resistance heat generation layer abutting on the electrode member is formed as the low resistance part whose resistance value is lower than the other part.
