A method and system for accessing data from information databanks (16) in all four dimensions, providing the ability to interactively experience and naturally visualize the temporal progression of important data components, their attributes and their changing interrelationships. The method and system builds 4D portals (1) into information databanks (25) through which computer-generated 4D worlds (40 and 41) are served to users in a 4D browser (30).
