PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of preventing a faulty image from being formed even when the consumption of toner is low. SOLUTION: An electrostatic latent image formed on an image carrier 1 by exposing the image carrier 1 by an exposure means is developed by plural developing means 41, 42, 43 and 44 storing plural kinds of color toner Y, M, C and BK, respectively. The number of sheets P to which a toner image is transferred is counted by a counter and the developing rate of the respective developing means 41, 42, 43 and 44 to the electrostatic latent image is measured by a developing rate measuring means. In the case of judging based on the counted value by the counter and the measured value by the developing rate measuring means that the developing means whose developing rate is lower than the specified rate is found and the sheets P to which the toner image developed by the developing means having the lower developing rate is transferred are continued by the specified number, the exposure means is controlled to form the electrostatic latent image having a high developing rate to the electrostatic latent image developed by the developing means having the lower developing rate. |
