PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inductor which can be formed thinly and can be manufactured easily and to provide a manufacturing method thereof. SOLUTION: A metal conductor 13 and a sheet of non-magnetic material 14 are interlaminated between a flat-form magnetic member 11 on which a recess 11a is formed and a flat-form magnetic member 12, thereby composing an inductor which has a non-magnetic layer formed between those two magnetic members 11 and 12 by a thickness of the non-magnetic material sheet 14. As a result, the intensity of magnetic field which produces the magnetic saturation is enhanced by a non-magnetic layer between the two magnetic members 11 and 12 and accordingly, the magnetic saturation can be avoided. Furthermore, the value of inductance can be predetermined arbitrarily by varying an arrangement or a shape of the metal conductor 13 between the two magnetic members 11 and 12 and the manufacture is extremely easy.
