PERFUSION LIQUID PREPARATIONS FOR OPHTHALMIC OPERATIONS

One-pack type perfusion liquid preparations which are excellent in the effect of protecting eye tissues and corneal endothelial cells during and after cataract operation, intraocular lens transplantation, glaucoma operation, vitreous body operation and penetrating keratoplasty, and have a high biological safety. These preparations comprise an aqueous solution containing at least one compound selected from among D-3-hydroxybutyric acid and salts thereof, a hydrogencarbonate and calcium glycerophosphate and remain stable as a preparation even under severe temperature conditions.
