<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a poor connection of an input/output terminal and a FPC by protecting a laying of wiring of the input/output terminal circumscription of a liquid crystal panel in an electronic equipment using a liquid crystal device. SOLUTION: The peripheral part of the input/output terminal containing the laying of wiring is covered and protected by a transparent insulating film. The transparent insulating film is thickened, and the input/output terminal is bored, the ITO layer is attached to the inside, and is used as input/output terminal. The transparent insulating film is bored in a tapered shape to obtain a cone-shape, a recess is made at the periphery of the input/output terminal, and the waste generated at rubbing processing and cutting of a substrate is captured. The transparent insulating film of the input/output terminal and the circumscription are processed simultaneously with formation of a thin film transistor.</p> |
