HIGH-SPEED ENCODER AND ITS ENCODING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-speed encoder operated at a high-speed with low power and its encoding method. SOLUTION: The high-speed encoder includes a switching section 560 that receives a serial code being an output of an analog/digital converter in prescribed bits and generates one bit into the MSB and converts the remaining bits into a parallel signal and an encoder 220 that divides bits received in parallel by the switching section 560 into a prescribed unit, encodes each of prescribed bits, selects the encoded bits by using bits not used in the prescribed unit and generates remaining LSB together with the MSB generated by the switching section 560.
