PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric filter, a dielectric duplexer and a communication apparatus using them, which improve the degree of freedom in design and obtain stable characteristic. SOLUTION: Inner conductor holes 2a and 2b whose inner surfaces are covered with inner conductors are bored inside of a dielectric block 1, gap parts g are formed between input/output electrodes 5a, 5b and an outer conductor 4, the electrodes 5a and 5b are formed on the outer surface of the block 1 continuously from a bottom surface (mounting surface) to a side surface, and filter characteristic is fixed by the width or the depth of the gap parts on the side surfaces of the dielectric block.
