PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device stably reproducing/recording a signal while suitably protecting focus/tracking actuators. SOLUTION: The optical disk device is provided with a beam irradiation means 103 for converging/irradiating a light beam on a recording carrier 101 and a moving means 30 moving the conversion point of the light beam radiated onto the recording carrier 101 in the direction substantially vertical to the recording carrier surface. The focus control part 150 of the optical disk device performs absolute value integration a focus control signal for controlling the operation of the moving means for a prescribed period of time by using an integration circuit 111 so that the position of the conversion point of the light beam comes a prescribed position, and adjusts a drive signal for driving the moving means according to the result of the absolute value integration.
