<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the icon display method of a broadcast program, which discriminates whether the program is being broadcast or it is scheduled to be broadcast or it is terminated by a viewer by an icon. SOLUTION: The method comprises a step for inputting a program type from the viewer, a step for extracting program information comprising the start schedule time of the inputted program by individual programs (type program) and continuous schedule time from a broadcast signal, a step for judging whether the type program is scheduled to be broadcast from start schedule time, continuous schedule time and present time or it is being broadcast or it is broadcast-terminated, a step for selecting the icon (program type icon) corresponding to the program type from an icon group, a step for deciding the display state of the program type icon in accordance with the result of judgment and a step for displaying the program type icon on a screen in a decided display state.</p> |
