<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a file transfer system for improving file transfer efficiency between nodes under a network environment where the nodes are connected through WAN. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a parameter control part 13 for measuring and gathering round trip delay time(RTT), a path maximum transfer unit(PMTU) and a channel speed, etc., and an optimum window size computing part 14 for calculating an optimum FTP(file transfer protocol) block number based on the parameters and file transfer using the optimum window size of a TCP(Transport Control Protocol) protocol is performed. Also, a throughput control part 15 for monitoring the round trip delay time at all times during the file transfer and detecting the dispersion of the RTT is provided. In the case that the dispersion is present, the file transfer is continued by using the optimum window size recalculated by an optimum window size decision method.</p> |
