PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL display enabled to prevent the degradation of organic layer caused by generation of heat accompanied by luminescence with stable display and good characteristics of life. SOLUTION: A cooling means 2 is mounted on the organic electroluminescent display composed of the organic EL elements 1 arranged on one main surface 11a of the substrate 11. The cooling means 2 comprises a package 21 for sealing which covers one main surface 11a of the substrate 11 in the state of covering the organic EL element 1, and a supply tube 22 supplying a fluid A for cooling.
