PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-frequency heating device which heats the specific area of the object to be heated selectively by confining the microwave to a specific area. SOLUTION: The high-frequency heating device comprises a heating chamber 10 housing the object to be heated; a high-frequency generating means 11; an opening part 14 opened at a wall surface 15 of the heating chamber; and an impedance changing means 16 which changes the impedance of the opening part 14 by a groove part 17, formed so as to have the opening part 14 at its one end, and a dielectric plate 17a installed in the groove part 17. The dielectric plate 17a is driven into rotation, accordingly, the impedance at the opening part 14 is changed, consequentially, the high-frequency current flowing through the wall of the heating chamber 10 is changed, and the distribution of microwave in the heating chamber is concentrated to the specific area of the object to be heated, moreover, uneven heating of the object to be heated is dissolved by the change of impedance with the lapse of time.
