TRACKING ERROR DETECTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concrete means particularly realizing miniaturization and low power consumption of a circuit related to a tracking error detecting device for forming a tracking error signal and an offset signal for controlling tracking of an optical pickup in an optical recording/reproducing device. SOLUTION: A phase error detection means and a low-pass filter means for detecting the tracking error signal and the phase error detection means and the low-pass filter means for detecting the offset signal are shared, and the shared phase error detection means and the low-pass filter means are used in time division to detect the tracking error signal and the offset signal.
