PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the occurrence of an alignment deficiency of liquid crystal by an impact applied to a liquid crystal device in the liquid crystal device equipped with a liquid crystal cell. SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal device having the liquid crystal cell 1, a glass plate 2 stuck to the liquid crystal cell 1 through a supporting member 5 and disposed so as to cover this cell, a supporting frame 3 stuck to the glass plate 2, and a mainframe 11 connected to the frame 3, a supporting member 5 is distributedly provided in the area distant from the connection portion of the frame 3 and the mainframe 11 so that the transmission distance of a stress wave propagation may be lengthened by detouring the stress wave propagation transmitted to the liquid crystal cell 1 from the mainframe 11.
