PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film back interchangeable type camera and an interchangeable type film back reducing photographer's trouble on the light shielding of the film back and the release of the light shielding and having no risk of losing a light shielding member. SOLUTION: The camera having a camera body and the film back attached to/ detached from the camera body is equipped with an aperture for transmitting photographing luminous flux formed on the film back; a film feeding mechanism moving film behind the aperture; the light shielding member incorporated in the film back, movably positioned ahead of a film traveling surface behind the aperture, and operated to a light shielding state where the film is not exposed and a light transmitting state where the film is exposed by releasing the light shielding; a light shielding member driving mechanism for operating the light shielding member from the light shielding state to the light transmitting state; a normally/reversely rotating motor; and a motor interlocking switching mechanism for switching the motor to the film feeding mechanism and the light shielding member driving mechanism in accordance with its normal rotation and reverse rotation an interlocking them. The film is fed by the normal rotation of the motor and the light shielding member is operating from the light shielding state to the light transmitting state by the reverse rotation.
