PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure sensor which is attached to a passage member constituting the intake system of an engine, detects the intake pressure of the engine, and has a high degree of freedom for attaching direction regardless of the vertical direction of the member. SOLUTION: The pressure sensor 100 is provided with an attaching section 2 attached to the passage member 900, a projecting section 3 which projects in a direction which is almost perpendicular to the flowing direction of air from the internal wall to the inside of the member 900, a recessed section 4 formed on the front end face 3a of the projecting section 3. The sensor is also provided with a pressure detecting element 5 which is positioned in the passage member 900 in a state where the element 5 is housed in the recessed section 4. A through hole 6 is made through the side wall of the recessed section 4 to discharge the water collected in the section 40 into the member 900.
