PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical wavelength multiplex modem which has simple configuration and can realize the analog and digital modulation/demodulation at a low price with the same configuration. SOLUTION: A spectral prism 5 for dispersing an input light beam, a digital mirror (DMD) 7 having a plurality of reflective elements for reflecting the input light beam toward at least two directions, and a DMD controller 10 for controlling reflective directions of the plurality of reflective elements of DMD 7 are formed in a modulation part of an optical wavelength multiplex modem. The DMD 7 performs an optical wavelength multiplex modulation by reflecting the light beam dispersed by the spectral prism 5 according to the control of the DMD controller 10 in the direction controlled by the plurality of reflective elements for every wavelength. |
