<p>The fixed support comprises a long casing with a longitudinal axis on which a pinion support mobile longitudinally of the casing is mounted; a carriage disposed parallel to the support is mounted and guided on the casing from which it is suspended; two first rack rails fixed inside the casing on opposite sides of the axis; the carriage sliding on the casing so as to move between first and second end positions; a second pair of rack rails, the pinion support being mounted between the first and second pairs of rack rails; two axially aligned rotating pinions meshing with the pairs of rack raisl to drive the carriage; a motor mounted on the support and with an alternatingly moving piston rod. The mechanism is used for e.g. presenting and removing workpieces to a press, stamper, etc.</p> |
