PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that speedy character input operation cannot be performed since characters inputting requires continuously depressing character-input keys in the structure of a cellular telephone system wherein characters are inputted only by the conventional input keys in front of a telephone body. SOLUTION: This cellular telephone device is characterized in that the character input is performed by operating input keys 2 in front of the telephone body while depressing a specific input key among the input keys 1 which are provided on the side of the telephone body.
