PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct precise assembly by easily and appropriately aligning a color separation filter and an on-chip lens with respect to a solid-sate image pickup element. SOLUTION: A color separation filter 120 is disposed on the upper face of the solid-state image pickup element 110. An on-chip lens 130 is arranged on the upper face of the color separation filter 120. Light emitting elements 140 used for registration adjustment are provided in the non-image pickup element area of the solid-state image pickup element 110. Target marks 122 are provided in two corner parts in accordance with the respective light emitting elements 140 in the color separation filter 120. In the on-chip lens 130, target marks 132 are prepared in the two corner parts in accordance with the respective light emitting elements 140. Thus, the color separation filter 120 and the on-chip lens 130 are aligned by adjusting the light of the light emitting elements 140 and the positions of the target marks 122 and 132.
