PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a measuring shielding case for a portable telephone set to be improved in shielding properties. SOLUTION: A shielding case is composed of a case, which is formed of a metal plate reflecting radio waves and a lid which is connected to the case together for forming a radio wave shielding space. A partition formed of a metal plate to block radio waves and another partition formed of a radio wave absorber to absorb radio waves are provided inside the case. The shielding space is separated by the partitions into a shielding space for cable, in which measuring cables are housed to be electromagnetically shielded, and a measured equipment, such as a portable telephone shielding space in which the measured equipment is housed to be electromagnetically shielded. A radio wave absorbent is pasted on the inner surfaces of the shielding spaces to absorb radio waves, with which the shielding case can be enhanced in shielding properties to interfering radio waves, when a measuring operation is carried out.
