The table has at least one leg supporting several table-top parts on at least two superimposed planes in an initial position. The first table top parts (2) on a first plane form a first table top surface enlarged by raising the second table top parts (3) onto the first plane. The first table top parts are swiveled by at least one adjustment to form gaps. The second table top parts near the gaps have at least one hoist (11,15) lifting them level with the first table top parts. The first table top parts sit on axles (6) on which are cantilevered arms (7).
