The writing desk or work table has a holder (13) extending in the desk's lengthwise direction (10) and positioned on the front of the desk part (14). The holder detachably attaches thin sheets such as photographs (12) arranged behind each other. The desk-part is situated on the front side of the table-top and is formed by a cross-bar (8) on the desk-frame. A deposit-duct (16) has a cover-part (15).
